One of the things that I miss about being a full time Graduate Student or Professor is getting together with colleagues and talking psychology.
I'll get to do that this afternoon, as we're bidding farewell to an older Professor who is retiring. I'm a part-timer at DVC (Diablo Valley College) and have been for more than 20 years. It means I get to chat with my colleagues now and then, but not really that often.
I had fun at the preschool this morning, as usual, and am resting at home for a few minutes before heading out. Do you enjoy talking to people whose interests are similar to yours?

Yes! I love talking to people about homestead stuff and getting off the grid, sharing landlady stories and learning about new medicine out that treats cancer. Plus I have noticed a connection with skin cancer and ling cancer, U am not sure anyone has but I have in my neck of the woods.

@TheHorse I am glad you did. I don`t often get to talk to people about off the grid stuff, people tell me I am crazy. When I say I made jelly some people act like that is the hardest thing in the world and its as natural to me as cooking a burger.

Definitely talking with people with similar interests is always great because it also is an opportunity to gather some ideas and inspiration. Have a great time.
