It's raining!

I know that Louisiana has been inundated with rain lately. We are getting a lot of it today. I also just heard some thunder. I'm thinking this is perfect reading weather. I was going to do a deep clean of the bathroom, but it's not so bad that it needs that yet. I can get by with doing a general clean for now.
I may also peruse a few sites for their clearance clothing. I usually do this later in the year, but I'd like to get myself a new shirt or two and maybe another night shirt. I also plan a trip or two to some of the local thrift shops.. That's for another day.

Our national weather channel was telling us about snow in Italy. I forget which part, but there was snow one day of the week last week.
We are to experience rain again today. I'll be headed towards higher elevation as well so it may be a bit cooler.

@LadyDuck I know parts of the US have seen some snow as well. It is too warm, and has been too warm, for any snow in my State.

Today the outside is very hot but to be at home feeling better. From today the summer vacation starts. So enjoying the day.

I just looked at my weather forecast this morning. IT seems it will start getting warmer. I am not looking forward to that. I don't like too much heat. I hope you enjoy your summer vacation.

Weve had rain most of the month, but on this day, the 11th, we had sunshine - so much so that i got a bad burn on my shoulders face and chest.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I know many like that.. if I was only outside for like an hour, it wouldn't have happened, but I was out there for 3.5 for the party.. and the temp apparently went up while there.

We have had a couple good summer storms the last couple of weeks but nothing too exciting or damaging. A couple months ago we had some tornados.
