Yesterday my son talked me into going with him car shopping and I should have said no. I hate car shopping, we spent almost 5 hours at the dealership. That is 5 hours I will never get back lol.
I'm all for spending time with my son but not at a car dealer, even though it was at Carmax where they are a lot less pressure driven it still sucks. Of course some of the time was my son trying to make a choice on if he wanted the car or not. I totally get it though you got to make sure you want to spend your money on it or not.
Well we did have some laughs and we got the salesman so comfortable with us that at one point he cursed following our lead and he just looked at us with this like surprised look on his face like "oh no, I'm in trouble". Neither my son or I even noticed till he apologized. Then we told him we didn't even notice and we started to laugh. He said, "you guys are going to get me in trouble" and then we all laughed.
He did end up getting the vehicle and he was pretty happy about it. I'm kind of glad he got it cause the old car was on it's way to major problems.

I hate car shopping and will not put up with BS. My husband gets annoyed sometimes but I tell it like it is. When shopping for my last car, I found one online in a city about 20 miles south of Baton Rouge. We went to look at it and the tag had another price on it. I had printed out the page from the website with another price, less of course. A salesman met us and brought us inside to "talk." I told him we didn't have long that I wanted to be home for the LSU football game in one hour. I asked for the "best" price on the car and was told the price on the sticker was the best price. I then said so you don't honor the sale prices that you post on the internet? He didn't know what to say and said there was not a sale on that car. I pulled out my paper I had printed and showed him the vin number and told him to go look at the one on the car. It was on in the same. He ended up calling his sales manager and I told them thank you for wasting my time. I would never buy a vehicle from them ever and walked off. My husband was a little embarrassed but I told him that was totally unethical and they had no clue what one department was doing from the next department there.

@Bensen32 Well, I did buy from someone wealthy. Her hubby drives it to work only, retires and they don`t need the 2011 Kia Soul , sells it to me for $2,800 back in 2016. I am still driving it and only had the oil changed and a new set of keys made.

I remember being dragged around with my dad when he was car shopping. I was really little so of course I would be bored. But being little and adorable I did get to sit in some fancy cars haha

Well at least car shopping is over for now. It isn't one of my favorite activities either, but it has to be done.
