Watched Years And Years, the new Russell T Davies series on the BBC. Spoilers Some SF aspects to its chilling predictions of the near future - it makes Survivors look Utopian. Very much a projection from present day news in the very literal sense. A radio news broadcast mentions that 'Doris Day died yesterday. The really bleak stuff grows from the last days of Trump's second term in office. Great performances from Russel Tovey & Emma Thompson among others. There is some humour too, as with the sex robot and the girl who wants to be digitized managing to be as funny as it is rather sad. The last five minutes are incredibly tense. Arthur Chappell

I find Russell T almost subvesive. As a gay man all he writes is gay characters all the time.
