Every year, when ever the end of the fasting month is approaching just about every family who claims to be Muslims is ready to buy shoes and clothes for their children. Their children usually nag their parents to buy them news shoes, new clothes, and to give them their once-in-a-year allowance. I used to ask for the same things when I was a kid as well. Since more people do the shopping for Idul Fitri Day, when most children wear their new shoes and clothes, shopping centers are crowded with shoppers. Special music welcoming the great day is played in malls. More special packages containing food, cans of soft drink and snacks are displayed at certain corners to attract buyers. Even now, some shops have display pack for the coming season.

This is interesting. Thanks for sharing. Never knew about this before. I guess parents should save up every year for that special day when they have to buy new things for their children

Some parents usually are busy making cakes just 10 days before the Big Day.

it is almost the same with Christmas celebration of the Catholics where children also wear new clothes and shoes especially when they go to church to attend the Christmas eve mass and when they attend their Christmas party in school..

Everything doesn't have to be new, the important thing is heart returns to clean.
