Azaleas Almost Gone

Azaleas are still blooming in my garden, but not for long. I noticed several dead blooms on the ground. They have bloomed longer this year than normal. Maybe the rain has helped. But they will return next year as they always do.
We have sunshine back today and it is getting warmer. I prefer the cooler weather but the warm weather is coming. Suppose to be in the 90s this weekend. Too warm for me, I will stay indoors and get things done.
What weather do you prefer? Plans for today?

Those Azaleas are so beautiful, I wonder do they bloom in that color only, or they can cloom in different colors? By the way I don't like warm weather Carol, I'd rather chilly. LOL

@CarolDM Oh thanks for explaining that for me Carol. It is always nice to be taught by the people who know best, in this case you!

oh how i miss azaleas! they'll grow here, if'n ya pour lots 'f water to 'em 'n recall to add coffee grounds'n a regular basis. our soils're very alkaline here. nothin' purtier'n drivin' 'long'n spring, admirin' the dogwoods/redbuds 'n azaleas puttin' forth a good show. sigh... sometimes i jest a tad homesick fer such.
'til i got puny, 95 degrees 'twas prime fer me. worked out'n 't all day - haulin' hay, tendin' cattle 'n horses, maintainin' pastures, etc. now? anythin' 'bove 80 makes me a tad queasy. hopin' 's i continue to heal such'll pass.

@CarolDM gotta love naturally acidic soil, eh? yup, that'd be the downfall, those spring bloomers jest don't last long 'nough. sure 'njoy 'em whilst they do though!

I like it 70 to 80. I dont mind 90 if the humidity is low. Been working outside.

@CarolDM That can make 80 feel bad too.

I love azalea bushes and have wanted to plant on in my front yard for the longest time. They are so pretty.
I enjoy warm weather but not when it gets home and humid.

It's beautiful
You have a lot of flowers in the garden. I prefer fresh weather more than big heat, approximately as it is now here
