The Dragon Slayer

I have decided to pop in some photos of which I have many. Back in Latvia, many buildings are adorned with amazing statues which sometimes look realistic. Here is one of a brave knight slaying a nasty dragon. This was taken in good weather but you should see him in the snowy winter with a cap of snow as well as the dragon adorned with the white stuff. Do you like taking photos of statues?

Not so many but before I came back to the US I had lived in Riga, Latvia for over 20 years @crossbones27 Before that I was in Paris, France and in Munich, Germany but that was when I was a teenager. I have visited many states in the US. and my hometown is NYC.

Great photo and I think that they must look pretty good in the winter with the snow clinging to them as they fight it out there so to speak. Comes to mind George who slayed the dragon in England the most famous one that is.

Yes, I remember about George and have seen photos of that statue @lovinangelsinstead21 and actually, the statue in Riga is a depiction of St. George

It's a wonderful photo! I love the dragon slayer and the other beautiful buildings and statues too. They look very old. I rarely take photos because I don't think I'm good at it. I enjoy seeing other people's pics though.

I like statues and i also like taking pictures of them. If I get to travel on my own again, I’d take a lot of pictures of statues.

I will post some more interesting statue shots. There were also statues that would look like they were ready to step right on your head @GreatMartin
