Anxious Saturday

I have accomplished absolutely nothing today. Well, other than being yelled at by my mom - but that’s an everyday thing pretty much. I slept way too late and I’ve had bad anxiety attacks all day. I tried to take a nap but couldn’t fall asleep. I was hoping a friend who was coming into town for a concert would want to meet up for dinner but I guess he got into town too late, since I haven’t heard from him. Tomorrow I’m going to visit y best friend and her family. They have to put one of their dogs to sleep Monday morning and I want to see him one last time. He’s such a goofy thing and I adore him. I’m so sad for them, but he’s all but lost control of his back legs and it is his time to go. For tonight - I shall try to keep my brain from going crazy.

Hope your anxiety attacks let up and enjoy your visit tomorrow. I have a question is the dog healthy and the only reason is his legs. I remember back in Latvia close neighbors had a boxer that lost the feel of back legs and they had a wheeled cart attached to the dog and it even ran and lived a long time afterward.

He has degenerative spinal cord disease. He’s also lost control of his bowels now. He’s been fighting this for about a year and steroids are no longer helping. He’s 8 and a Great Dane, which is elderly for that big a dog.

@Lolaze he will then be better off and happier to be out of his misery. It is sad but the dog cannot keep suffering.

I hope the panick attack disappears so you can sleep well tonight. Is there any pill you can take to relieve that?

I have taken my medicine. It doesn’t seem to be doing much.

Ah, parents. Yes, they can drive you crazy. I know that for a fact. Mine are getting old and they seem to have turned into children again. Wow. Now I am the adult. LOL. Well, I guess that's how it goes. But I go into my apartment upstairs and lock the door. That way I don't have to deal too much with the craziness.

My best friend and I both live with our moms and they are both handfuls. We often joke “Mother’s...can’t live with em, can’t kill em!”

@Lolaze Nice!!! I know what you mean. But look, they were always there for us growing up and I cannot turn my back on my parents. My father just turned 90 and they are like living with children. But that is life.

I'm sorry your friend needs to put their dog down. That's so sad. I've needed to do that twice. I hope today will be a better day for you, aside from the dog.

Good luck. I slept for several hours after the gym this morning. Depression just hit.

Ah the gym. I need to get back there. I’m paying $25 a month for nothing currently.

It was okay. Watched some movies, posted on here, played a game like Boggle on my phone.
