You bet cha. Its Sunday- seems to me this has happened before. Or am I missing something? Anyway, hubby ground fresh wheat flour yesterday so I had to do something. I grabbed ye old Betty cookbook and thumbed the gritty pages to Breakfast Specials. Pineapple coffee cake. Hmmmm. Why I don't remember the exact this and that of making pancakes is beyond me. Got to admit that daughter will be forty this coming June- stop the car and let me out!!!! How did that happen? And for most of those forty years this Sunday morning pancake gig has rolled around again. I keep going back to look up the amounts needed for the this and that of the cakes. Maybe cause I'm goofy? Anyway, here's a slurp of molasses and fresh peanut butter to you. Hubby also had a fried egg that one of the hens laid recently.

@LindaOhio The pancakes were tasty as usual. Years ago I cooked them on top of an old wood burning stove. Now its easy electric burners.

@LindaOHio At times it was hard to cook over a wood stove. We used to have a nifty little oven that sat on top of the stove top. It was a square little folding gizmo that even had a temperature gauge in the front. There was a little shelf inside the little oven box.

Your post reminds me I am feeling like baking a cake. I made one a month ago, and it was delicious! Don't know if you added a picture to the post, but I can't see it :(

@sallypup Just the traditional one, I just put some granulated sugar on the top, and that's was it!

@noni1959 It happened awfully fast, huh? I wish I could think of something to send my daughter that would not offend her.

@sallypup Maybe ask if she has an Amazon list you can choose from? My oldest does and it's so much easier to buy things she wants. My son is turning 36 in September and he has a list with lot's of fishing stuff. My youngest likes gift cards to shop with. She is turning 34 in September.
