I got my direct deposit two days early! Woohoo..payday is normally on the 22nd. So, I was quite surprised to see it in the bank already. I guess they wanted to get an early start before the holiday weekend, either that, or they know that alot of people don't do shops until they get paid for previous work. Anyway, I am happy. Tomorrow is supposed to be cool as well..so it will be a good time to go pick up some needed items. Don't you love getting money before you are expecting it?

My last job was like that. They would pay on Friday instead of Tuesday if there was a holiday. Otherwise our paycheck came out every Tuesday.

@snowy22315 I need to buy a new bathing suit. When I was in my late teens and early 20s? I'd wear my bathing suit out when going places. Of course it was shorts and a tank top type bathing suit, not a bikini or a one piece.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I have a couple of suits, but I could use a new one. I will wait until summer stuff starts going on sale after July 4th.

Well, good for you, that is a nice surprise! Yes, I like seeing my money before I expect to. I've had that happen about three times now in just that past week..
One of my earning sites that I have Paypal linked to sent my cash out a few days before I really expected to see it.
Also, I just came in from the mailbox and I received not one but two checks from two of my other earning sites. Both of them came in sooner than I thought they would.
I guess I can second you on your woohoo!

Congrats, good for you, me until now no salary from the other school where I am teaching. It was April payroll. I don't know why and I hate to keep on asking the finance officer. I need it for this long summer almost 4 months. That 32,000 pesos( more or ,less $ 700 ) very needed this time. This is the first time to experience having so delayed salary.The feeling sucks.
