This day, there was a heated argument between my sisters at home and a lousy neighbor.After our laundrywoman hanged all clothes mostly from kids at home 3 of them, our neighbor next to our home , just 10 meters away from a fence, burn damaged tires, dry leaves and other decayed stuffs near where the clothes were hanged. There were almost 80 pieces of kids clothes and two bed sheets.
When we smelt the bad smoke , we reacted right away and thought about the source of bad smoke and the clothes. There goes the smoke from a big fire directing to the newly washed clothes. We reprimanded the neighbor to stop the fire, but did not execute the order. I went out and saw that neighbor bad mouthing at my elder sisters. Without a word, I got the long host ,open the fence, and went nearer the fire and extinguished it. She never dared to fight back at me for we had a conflict before, pouring my pet cat with a boiling water.
I looked at her with a look that seemed like killing her. Finally, the fire was put off and smoke gradually disappeared.Before I went out to put off the fire, I called a police, my student before and she was brought to precinct. She needs to pay her bad action.
Why are there haters in the world? We ought to love our neighbor, but it seems hard to love a neighbor like this neighbor, abnormal, scandalous, illiterate. Do you also have a neighbor you do not like? Huh!

We have a " clean air act" in the Philippines , it's illegal to burn trash, you could sue her for that. I'm just fine with my neighbors.

@cacay1 you can petition only if she is renting and not if she owns the property, anyway the animal cruelty and violation of the cleam air act are already grounds for legal action in court.

@louievill actually, they are only renting the house for almost 3 years now.The owner is my cousin who had purchased a house and lot at Pueblo de Oro.We called him telling about the rentor, he said that he'll not extend their rent because of her bad attitude.In fact, they don't pay the rent on time.

@louievill, we are so unlucky for having that kind of neighbor. We plan to file petition for her yo vacate the place. She was the one i told before, that was two years ago, pouring hot water to my pet cat causing her get some deep burns. I think she is irritable woman in her 50's. She is so mean.

Burning of tires, etc. is against the law, issued by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources. It emits toxic fumes and harmful to humans and to the ozone layer.

@acelawrites , she was reprimanded to pay 5,000 pesos for she is going to face the law if she won't pay the damages.She signed the waiver, and if do it again she will immediately be jailed.

@thelme55 , yes me , too and other neighbors near her home. She has mental problem. It's better for her to talk to her neighbors to gain some help.She is also anti-social, perhaps allergic to humans

@Torunn , yes my friend, my pet cat was so pitiful. I saw tears in her eyes.I brought my pet Miming to the Vet and was cured. She got deep burns. She was blottered and the case was brought to the barangay court. She pledged to pay all damages, cat's med, food and others, almost 12,000 ( rough estimation of
( $ 220 US dollars). This will be her second offence. She already has bad record in the local court.In the third offence she will face a harsh penalty and sentence.It seems this neighbor of mine has mental problems.

i'd be more worried 'bout the toxins'n the smoke (burnin' tires.....any rubber/plastics'd be toxic) than the clothin'. i've neighbors who've nearly burnt me out when their trash fires got outta hand, so can somewhat relate?
dunno why some folks act'n such a manner, with no respect fer others such suggests to me they've none fer 'emselves either.
'pparently this person 'twas not charged fer harmin' yer cat?? seems she's some deep mental issues....

@crazyhorseladycx, that's the right term my friend, mental issues with this neighbor.How my pet cat suffered deep burns two years ago. She paid the damages of the burn plus this day another damaged payment she incurred for being abnormal. She signed a waiver never to do bad again for in the third offence no more excuses. She will face the law in the third offense. She is so mean and rude neighbor.It's a sign of insecurity and abnormality.

@crazyhorseladycx , yes my friend, my neighbor is a destructive neighbor. She must be evicted in our place. The owner of the house and lot never let them stay for another year.The owner of the house they rented is my cousin. After learning the case, he cancelled the extension and refund them, She is a troublemaker neighbor, bad, disrespectful, arrogant and abusive .

That is now illegal to burn things in the backyard. I think that is really annoying and insensitive the effect of burning trash. I hop she learned her lesson and good thing you have reported it to the police because I know that DENR now prohibits burning of trash within the homes as a way to dispose of them.

@rsa101 ,she is indifferent. Maybe she is hiding some regrets in her life , or some guilt that she carried and her attitude is affected. She is always feeling mad at anyone in the neighborhood. We hope the house owner won't anymore sign the contract for their extension.

@hereandthere ,this is her second offense and that was the order to pay some damages . The 3rd offense will not be considered as an excuse.Her husband asked for an apology and paid there in the police station.

@Sreekala , we went to the police precinct and the neighbor was told to pay for the damaged caused by her or she will be jailed for two days.She signed the waiver to pay the damaged in the amount of P 5,000
( more or less ($100), payment for the cost of the water in spreading the fire, the clothes laundry, fabric conditioner, refund for the laundry fee and others. That served a lesson for her cruelty.

Oh my! That is one disrespectful neighbor! We have heard stories that well before we moved into this house, the next door neighbor used burn his trash and leaves . . . our other neighbors who had been here for a long time fought back as it is illegal here (there were other housing issues with this man, but that is another story). No one liked this guy - and no one liked the tenants he chose throughout the years . . . some of them were violent but only towards themselves and thankfully not towards any of us - but it was a disturbance to our street. @cacay1 Your neighbor is particularly destructive. It's one thing to be angry, but another to actually intentionally hurt the people (or animals) around you. And she should be punished for that. What a nuisance she must be in your neighborhood . . . if only she would move away - far, far away!!!

@much2say, there are bad neighbors in the world, their mind cannot control their emotion that contains anger/ hatred or whatever ill feeling they would have. Your neighbor was also disrespectful like my neighbor.They're making nice mood bad . I was really mad at my neighbor so mean.She saw many clothes hanged plus the odor of the rubber tire, very bad for the health and there are kids at home my nephews and niece ages, 9,7 and 2. About my pet cat, yes she was brutally poured with a boiling water and brought Miming to the nearest Vet. She had deep burns and happy to know she survived. The case was brought to the local court. She paid the damages in the amount of $220 US dollars Vet fee, medicine for 3 meetings/ sessions and others. This neighbor seems abnormal, hater, unkind and troublemaker. All people n the neighborhood don't like her.

I just love the photos of the goats. That was very bad of the neighbor I sure hope that is not repeated. I am lucky I don't know any of my neighbors and no one does anything bad around here.

@RasmaSandra, we are so unfortunate to have this kind of neighbor. We are scared actually who knows if she will do wrong again. People in the neighborhood dislike her, too.We plan to elevate our fence to avoid seeing her face. She is so indifferent, unkind.

@Mulidi, so true, they behave like animals, no feelings. Our neighbor saw well the newly hanged clothes, the effort made, the laundry soap, water and fee of the laundry lady.They were all washed by my sister for the clothes smell so bad from tires.

@Mulidi , My sister is kind to her, perhaps she has attitude problem or having some abnormalities. She is so mean and rude neighbor.We plan to file petition to have them removed. We already approached the chairman in our location. She will face the barangay capt. next week.

@jaboUK, yes friend.She is a disturbing neighbor. We always have some fears.What if she would do another mistake. She would surely regret for this is her last chance to evade the law. The owner of the house they rented is my cousin and plan not to give them extension to stay for another year. their contract expires in November this year.That time people at home will rejoice.

@DianneN, this is our first encounter with a neighbor lime this neighbor. She is so indifferent. She always have some issues. All our neighbors never had liked her. She is not friendly. When someone asks her, she just shrugs her shoulder, so indifferent, perhaps, moron.

Me thinks people tend to be insensitive when it comes to certain things. If I were to be in that kind of situation, I would hang my clothes elsewhere. It's like the standing goats picture you have there. If they like to hang on trees, then so be it. This world needs more peace..

@Nevena83, yes, in the country of my birth burning tires and plastics are against the law. It's a law and whoever violates will be punished. The smoke from the burnt rubber tires and plastics are hazardous to health and destructive to the ozone layer.The disturbance she made is irritating and annoying considering the 80 pieces of kid's clothes and two bed sheets, plus the fee of the laundry woman, we paid her double to rewash the odorous clothes.I hope you get me for this is my problem.
