Excited About My Mulberry Tree

Every morning, I always visit my little mulberry tree to see if the flowers will develop into fruits.
This is the first time that I can grow my own mulberry tree. It was given to me by a neighbor who no longer wanted it. She said it was already fruiting but she had to remove it because the roots might damage that portion of her house's wall.
So I just planted it, then forgot about it. Then I noticed it lost its leaves and looked dying.
It was good I did not pull it because I noticed some small buds coming out from the stems. Then after it rained, more leaves came out along with white little flowers.
Now I am waiting for the flowers to develop into fruits. Am also seeing if insects will come to eat the leaves. I will pluck them dead.

i think they prefer cooler weather (unlike here in metro manila). someone in our parent's hometown was able to grow one. she said the fruit is really delicious and comes in different colors. but her sons love to pick them or the birds eat them, so she never gets to collect a lot!

I have those trees. When the fruit turns black that is the time to harvest them.
