Yesterday I missed my nap due to my summer camp. And that made me too tired in the evening. I even felt a heavy head. So I decided to shift my nap time from 4 to 3 in the afternoon. The camp starts at 4:15. So I will take a nap for an hour. I am tired after a long day.. Three loads of laundry, cooking and some shopping. I am done with the set up for the camp today. So I will catch a quick nap for an hour. Catch you later in the evening.. How is it at your end??

We have to miss it on few days when we go out of our regular routine. Does it make you lethargic and too tired by end of day? It happens with me. I keep yawning in the evening if I miss my nap and I am not at all productive.

I take a nap after my daughters are back from school. They come at 3:30 and I spend some time with them. I have to go and pick my younger daughter at 2:30. And before they come home I try to finish most of my chores and cooking.

Taking a short nap makes us feel refreshed again. The hot climate is sapping energy faster.

I badly need it in the afternoon after a long day since 5:30 in the morning. Even Bangalore is quite hot in last few days. We had no rain in last three days. Waiting for it.

@Sojourn Yes it is. But that's how life of many moms are. So I divide my day into two ..one before power nap and one post that.

I have shifted it from 4 to 3. Earlier I used to take nap from 4 to 5. Now I have to take it from 3_4. I really had a power nap. And today we had a 45 minutes of music therapy which ended with a meditation session and that was really rejuvenating and recharging. It was a bit hot here too.

Yes. It is tiring. Especially in this hot weather. Though the shop was in next lane and it took me just a little more than half an hour to go and come back, I felt that the hot sun has sucked all my energy.

Yes. It was a power nap that helped me a lot. Totally rejuvenated and energized for a long session of summer camp. Yesterday went quite well with the camp.
