It is very common when we are on last week of month. People are very active to reach the threshold. I noticed this on every month.

Not at my end though, I still am catching up with past notification but they are not that many though. I have slowed down a bit in the past days that is why there not much activity in my notification.

I've noticed the same thing. When I logged off yesterday, I cleared out all of my notifications. Today, by early afternoon, I had around 35 notifications. All but about 1 or 2 were from my interactions and not my original posts. One was from an original post I made 2 months ago. So yes, things are quite busy on myLot. I hope it stays this way. I'm thinking it will.

May be, your guess could be right. I'm just back in after a few months. But money was not my expectation. People could also be busy with other life activities during the first half of the month.
