Going for a driving lesson today.

Perth, Australia
May 21, 2019 9:34pm CST
I have a driving lesson today with a professional. My brother has been helping me with driving but it's hard when he is only available on the weekends and even then it can sometimes be difficult. So I asked if I could get some financial help for lessons. (I go to a place every month who try to help me get a job. Slow process but better than nothing. I asked her if I could get help with driving and she is able to get me 3 free driving lessons.) I wish it could be a bit more than 3 but I am so grateful for it as I believe it's about $60 per hour. I'm trying hard to earn and save money for more lessons and then for my own car. I'm wanting to have a garage sale soon to help me further with making money. Anyway, I will let you guys know how I go with my driving lesson and if I damaged the car or ran anyone over lol. Hopefully not though!

@MissNikki Thank you so much. It went well for today. I have another lesson tomorrow at 3pm. I'm thinking about continuing being taught by this woman after my free lessons are over as I'm comfortable with her. It will be a bit of money for me but I almost have no choice.

Hey take care! Always listen to your instructor and don't hit the gas too much! Unless you're in the middle of the race track! Don't forget to wear a seatbelt! Don't be like me, on the first day that I drive by myself (I turned on the music volume high) and enjoy the trip, drive like it isn't your first one!

@VivaLaDani13 Driving is easy, it's like eating a huge hamburger By the way is your car transmission is automatic or manual?

@tech40 Will do. lol thank you. I won't be able to drive alone for a very long time so I have enough to learn all the basics and the Do's & Don't's.

@tech40 Love burgers. I'm learning in an auto. And will be getting an auto car when I have the funds for it.

@ParaTed2k Well thank you. Though I would need to fly or be on a boat to come down your way as I'm all the way in Australia.

I do hope that you are able to manage to get those lessons. They can definitely be expensive.

@dodo19 They sure are expensive. Luckily I went on my second drive today so I only have one more left but I would like to continue using her as my teacher. I have my last free lesson on Tuesday.

@MommyOfEli2013 Thank you so very much! It sure is pricey. Especially for me when I don't have a job yet so the free lessons are great but I'm considering paying for more even after the free lessons are over.
