Spoiler alerts – 2019 Though pulling back from the nuclear brink cliff-hanger set last week, (though with one nuke detonating) this remains pretty downbeat. The years are still rolling forward but only the children are getting any older in appearance. Not sure what depressed me more as Russell T Davies turns Nostradamus. Pence as President after Trump finally steps down, the crash of the banks, especially coming at the same time as British Steel & Jamie Oliver restaurants went bust in the real world. Viv (Emma Thompson) is on her way to power. The young girl with big digital dreams became a living breathing mobile phone. That was really disturbing. Though Viv’s devise for shutting down phones was really worrying, part of me wants one. I wonder if she will have an effect on the phone girl too if their paths cross. Arthur Chappell

I'm not familiar with this. Perhaps not in the States?

@LindaOHio It is a British BBC series, from the same man who got Dr Who relaunched here, Russell T Davies. You may be able to access it on the BBC I-Player

I have read yesterday that Jamie Oliver restaurants bankrupt. I am really sorry for the thousand people who lost their jobs, but to be honest I never understood how he became a successful Chef, I never liked him, never at all.

@LadyDuck He is quite smug and arrogant though he did a lot to encourage better healthy menus for school dinners etc - Never actually tried his restaurants. They looked quite expensive for me

@arthurchappell I tried once and I did not like, I hated how he pretended it was "Italian cuisine", when it was not at all.

A living breathing cell phone sounds very fascinating. The rest does sound disturbing, though.

@arthurchappell Doubly so because they aren't very outlandish...It feels like they could actually happen.
