My Laptop is Crying

I saw two little water drops on my laptop screen. I gently blotted them with a tissue. Then I noticed more drops from the top to the bottom. I wondered if my laptop was crying. Where could those water droplets come from? Have you ever heard of such a thing? Have you ever had that problem on your laptop?

Oh my! You're not outside are you? It's not raining, is it? I hope you can find the source and it doesn't destroy your laptop.

There are things in the universe that I do not understand. The vagaries of the internet are even more mysterious.

@just4him I think I summed it up pretty well. For years, I did not know how to do anything much. It finally snapped into my mind and now I don't need as much help to use it. Now, if only I could learn to use my phone.

Did something splash onto the screen somehow . . . like wet hands, or a cold drink with dripping condensation? It's gotta be something that dripped onto it . . . I know of no laptop that has tear ducts !

This has only been happening for the last couple of months. I have used a lot of different laptops and desktops over the years and have never seen this problem before.

I've never had that happen. Of course, I don't often use a laptop. If it were raining, I'd wonder if my roof were leaking. I hope yours isn't.

@akalinus That's good. Could it be condensation or is the air also dry?

Thats is weird. If you don't have an obvious source of the water drops (such as leaking from the ceiling or something), then it could be evaporating moisture from your laptop. Did you have it outside at any point?

I have taken it with me when I travel. But it has been a couple of years.

@akalinus Hmmm. Did you ever come up with an explanation for what was causing the water drops?

I live alone but sometimes have suspicions that someone else is living here. I sometimes notice missing food and things like that. I just wiped off two more tears. Don't want anything running down to gum up the works.

I am always the one with a weird problem. Sometimes I wonder if I'm an alien and don't know it.

@akalinus For the moment it's not humid, but during summer is sometimes humid, but I never saw drops of water on my computer, well I saw once when I spilled water on it.

@LadyDuck These drops appear when I am not drinking anything. I always keep whatever I am drinking on a different table than the desk with my laptop. I don't want to chance spilling something on it.

It simply shows your laptop is already old. I have experienced that. My laptop has already been serving me for 10 faithful years.
