1626 - Peter Minuit buys Manhattan.
1944 - Patti La Belle was born. 1960s Sang with Patti La Belle and the Bluebelles. 1970's - Changed the group name to Labelle. Came out with the hit song, "Lady Marmalade".
1943 - Gary Burghoff was born. 1970 - Best known for his role as Radar O'Reilly in M.A.S.H. Nominated for 6 Emmys, won 1.
