The bed room as well as the kitchen

I am living away from my home for rhe sake of my family welfare. The cost of living is very high. I have to rent a room in a house with 10 rooms to rent. The house provides a kitchen and 3 bathrooms for everyone who rent the rooms there. Of course I need to find time when no one uses the kitchen, which is hard because it seems the kitchen is fully used. So, what I do next? instead of waiting until the kitchen is not used, I decided to use my bedroom as a small kitchen. Just enough to cook rice and fry something. So, my bedroom is pretty messy and smells like a kitchen. What would you do if you were me?

Perhaps i would do the same. There is a time in our lives when we really have to make sacrifices.

I think I would do the same. May you open a window to let the bad smell out?

I'd open the windows so it wouldn't be so smelly. I lived in a house like that once, a long time ago. We were all considerate of each other.

That was nice. How long did you live in such a house?

@yanzalong A couple of months. I lived there while I worked for a company a couple of hours from my parents. When I lost the job, I moved back home.

Is it safe? Would the landlord or landlaby allow it to cook inside your bedroom? What are you using electric stove or butane stove?

It is tough to wait for a free kitchen area especially when you are hungry. Using the bedroom as kitchen, might be bit hard but when you cook you don't want to sleep and when you sleep you don't want to cook - so can run the life.

Sorry to hear about your current situation. It seems hard. We always cook so have to find a space where to put the kitchen stuffs. It will be better for you to open the windows so the odor evaporates, but do extra care.May I know if the house owner allows renters to cook inside the room, what if not, you might be reprimanded. Just to be safe and sure.
