New earrings; but lost it :-(

Hi all. Two months before , while I went for shopping, I was attracted by an earring and so I asked my mom if I can buy it and my mom bought that earrings for me .And while I wore the same for one party I lost the one earring from the pair. I searched for it everywhere, but I couldn't find it. It costs around $1.5 . It's just an imitation jewellery .Thoughh it's not very costlier , I feel very sad after losing it.
