‘Dead food’ means those foods which does not have any life in it. Dead food has no nutrients in its. We call it ‘dead’ because all the vitamins, minerals and fiber are out of it while processing. The dead foods are packet foods like biscuits, chips etc. The foods like fruits, nuts, seeds grams etc are considered as food with life or ‘live food’. I know all of us eat the packet foods for sure because it is tasty. It is not possible to avoid those foods completely from our life even though they are not good for us. The thing we can do, to reduce the intake of that kind of foods. Do you watch your diet every time on having your meals and concerned on health?

I almost never buy packet foods, I prepare the biscuits and cookies and I avoid chips, they are full of salt and greasy. I prepare everything at home.

@LadyDuck, so true chips are greasy and salty bad for kidneys. That's good of you doing the baking by yourself.

They are tasty indeed. Enjoy. But the fact is, if you avoid that kind of food from your diet you can heal many of your diseases without any medicine.

Yes too many packet foods are not good for health. They are enticing but we have to balance and make sure we have more of the healthy stuff.

It is good to watch on diet after a particular age. When we are young we can eat anything we want, without any problem but on getting aged, our body started to reach on unwanted foods. Here comes the problem.

Watching diet is surely important, but since life is so fast paced and there is a time limitation we do tend to overlook our eating habits. I am agreeing totally to what you said, packets food should be avoided though can't be abandoned completely from the diet.
