I know it's completely my personal decision but I want some advice, some genuine advice. I am a 2 years diploma holder in Medical Laboratory Technology. On the other hand, I have also Done BBA-HR... Bachelor of Business Administration (Specialisation in Human Resources) (That's a 3 year Graduate degree) ((Please don't say why I did 2 courses.. Blah blah. That's my personal, I've actually done 3 courses because I just love to study.)) Now I am thinking if I should change my field as I've been working in Hospital as a Laboratory Technician but Now I feel that I can do Master's degree in anything on the basis of BBA. For a good scope in future. Maybe a MBA - HOSPITAL ADMINISTRATION. which can relate to either Lab. or my BBA. Please suggest me something, keeping in Note that I have plans to move abroad, out of India. So which has got more scope abroad, I've heard it's medical stream. (I have experience in Lab but No experience in BBA work) What do you say? Thanks in advance ! (PC - ALAMY)

This is my advice...im not forcing you to do this...it's just my opinion.. Do MBA in Hospital Administration.. you have experience as a Lab technician and also you hold a Bachelor degree in Business Administration...so technically you know how things work in a Laboratory.. from the Management side you do hold a BBA so if you do MBA in a good B.school you may get placed in a good hospital.

Both medical and business are good fields. Where would you like to move?

Whichever has more scope, I'll go for it Mr Felix. I'd like to go to either Canada or Us or New Zealand

@ShifaLk Do you have any family or friends in those countries? If you do, then you can ask them to see what the possibilities for a good job are where they live?

hospital administration seems to be the logical direction in marrying both courses as kuttu said. how long have you been working in the lab?

@ShifaLk I suggest that you get more lab experience, partnered with your business degree, you have a good, solid background.

It doesn’t hurt to try anything new, especially out of the country.

I might not be an expert in this. But I feel that the demand in Health and medicine is high. So if you can blend the two ( I a not sure if we have a course like that) , it will be the best option. Just explore and see.

@ShifaLk I know I am not so aware of recent things. But hope you find one that suits you. In couple of years, I will be exploring more as my daughter will be heading to college.

Seems to me you need to figure out which you would enjoy more. You could make a decent living off either so why not so with what you will be most happy with?

Oh my goodness, you have studied entirely two different fields... Since you are young, you can do little experiment.... Well the last thing is do something that you are ready to go for, MBA is a good deal

Why not seek the guidance of a professional guidance counselor in your place?

Better to do MBA-HA because you have knowledge in hospital line. Similarly, you can also manage the staff as you are graduate in HR.So as far as i am concerned better to go MBA-HA
