I need someone to follow me around and tell me to drink water (and other things!)

It's 2:05 PM (EST) here. I have hardly had anything to drink. I drank the rest of a Kombucha drink around 9 this morning. I have just now filled up a small cup of water which is probably a little less than a half cup. I really need someone following me around and reminding me to drink. I either drink too much water or not enough. As an aside, I am taking today to sort of decide what I want next month to bring. Not only monetarily but adventuring, domestic life etc. I wouldn't call it a "concrete" plan, but rather a goal for what I want to accomplish. Have you thought about how you want your next month to look like? Or are you still worried about this one?

At my age, I am taking and enjoying one day at a time. Now, as far as long term goals, I have quite a few with traveling being the top one.

Where would you like to travel to? I've only traveled as far as Ohio. I've been in VA, SC and NC (where I'm from). I'd like to see a lot more of these United States.

@simone10 I think it would be a lot of fun to have Anna show us around her area. she is always making me want to see what it's like where she lives.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I would love to go to Paris, Ireland, and Switzerland(to see our friend Anna). But I would settle for seeing all the states, especially Hawaii.

NCO (non command officer?) I don't know what NCO means. Yes, I've been told that several times by people I know, that "You are probably dehydrated." Especially lately.

@ScribbledAdNauseum Oops, sorry, I'm usually better at watching my Military-ese around civilians. You were pretty close though, NCO is Non Commissioned Officer... Basically military mid management. lol

@ParaTed2k I figured I was wrong about the "command" part. Yeah, I don't have much experience with military. I know people who have served, but it's either been years, or I'm not close enough to them to experience them speaking the lingo.

You can mark up a gallon jug & put times on it on the line you need to drink by :) I have a weekly plan notepad of what I want to do accomplish for that day.

I know people do that but I don't like using anything plastic if I can help it. My best friend makes lists a lot. I do sometimes, but a lot of it are mental lists.

@ScribbledAdNauseum You can use one plastic jug then pour it out into your cup to drink. Then fill the plastic up again each day so it's just one plastic jug. Or you could mark up a tumbler. I see people do that option too.

@infatuatedbby I have a glass water bottle that I can do this too, or just remember to drink the whole thing by the end of the day. I'm not sure how many liters it is, but I feel like it has the capacity to store atleast half of the daily recommendation.

I have been drinking water the last 2 days-which is unheard of for me but with this heat I want to stay hydrated. =) I am not worried about any month but I have some things coming up next month that I am looking forward to-4 photography clients.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I don't ever drink water usually so you are doing good! Lol. No weddings, thank God, just family portraits. I don't want to do wedding photography just yet.

@LovingMyBabies Well I'm glad you have some clients. I asked if there were any Wedding since it is about to be June. I used to drink a lot of sodas or tea but a few years ago I started drinking mostly water. I've noticed a big difference in the way I feel. I only drink sodas or tea when I am at a restaurant.

I did better about drinking today after I wrote this discussion. I just have to remember to drink all day and not just once or twice a day. I used to be better about it. I'm not too worried, per se, I just want to make sure I have some fund allocated for fun. Ooh 4 photography clients! Any of them for weddings?

Here is an idea. What about if you measure the water that you think you need to drink in a day and put in a place that you will see it and drink some every time to see it until it is all finished before you go to bed?

I thought I already answered this.. Maybe it didn't go through. I do have a container that I used to use all the time. I suppose I should be doing something like that again.

I have a big glass of water next to me all day long (well after my coffee ) I hope to spend more time here on myLot in June but there's a lot of family things going on so it's really a guess at this point.

I just took a sip of water. I've been a lot better about it today. I am going to try to be on here consistently this month, but I'll also be on my other sites as well. I've got some plans in the summer months, one that we haven't completely confirmed yet but that I'd like to do. A little girls get together.

I've done a bit better about drinking water today. I need to fill up one of the water bottles I have and just carry it around with me. I used to do that and it worked. It's hard to believe that it is nearly June!

I forget to drink water and I use an app that reminds me to drink it.

That is one way to do it. I know a lot of fitness apps have where you can record how much water you have drank.

Never heard of Kombucha drink before. I don't drink enough water too. I haven't build this habit of planning ahead but it is surely beneficial.

I think it is a drink that is somewhat new, maybe over the last two years? It's a fermented health drink. Yes, everyone has to establish their own habits when it comes to planning.
