Next Friday!

Friday has always been my favorite day, and today is no exception. However, I’m over the moon excited about returning north to see all my loved ones for almost six entire months!
Our plane arrives around 3:00PM next Thursday, and our son will pick us up from the airport. Our home is 45 minutes from there, but the roads are usually clogged with traffic.
Since we will arrive at our home so late, we will have things to do to settle back in. That is why I decided to wait until Friday morning to get Doodles back from our son.
Our son, whose cat Doodles belongs to, will get his wife’s cat, Fredo, who has been living with her parents while we’ve been in Florida. They can’t live together, because Doodles prefers being the Alpha male. We adore him and are happy to have him back living with us.
Isn’t it crazy what we do for our pets and loved ones?

@BelleStarr I’ve heard all about it from our son and Doodles through FaceTime multiple times a week. I hope I can bring some sunshine and warm weather when we return. I will be back in CT on Thursday no matter what the weather is like.

Boy am I late . . . it really is near "next" Friday!
Oh my gosh . . . I am realizing you will be flying back tomorrow - you must be super busy right now! Geez, did time fly or what . . . hard to believe half the year is over . . . and you will soon be back up north!
Well I'm sure Doodles will be quite happy and over the moon when you return !

I bet it was great getting back to family, friends and Doodles. We certainly do things for our pets out of love while others that do not understand think they are crazy. I know this is an old post but saw it on the side and had to go into it. I also think Doodles is very handsome.

Doodles can be very controlling, but I love him anyway. 
I’m very excited to see my family after over 6 months away from them.
And you are so right about them all being priceless. We have such love in our hearts, that we’d do anything and everything for them.

Lily doesn't like my uncle's cats. My uncle's cats are Doodlebug and Buster. Lily is ok with Buster, but Doodlebug is mean to me and Lily. I think it's because my uncle and his"friend" used to play with Doodlebug in a mean way.

Boy, it's right around the corner! You'll have to get a whole new schedule going once you're home. Do you have a lot of friends up north? That's a good picture of Doodles. Hugs.
