That was what I exclaimed when my updated account balance jumped up a nickel. I got excited over a nickel increase! Now that is pretty special, or pretty silly. 
Here's the point: I'm now a nickel closer to my next cash out. By staying active, you can have similar results.
That's my advice for not only the newbies but for everyone.

@Hannihar Sometimes things happen where you can not reach your goals. The nice thing is that you can give yourself another chance to make it. As long as you stay active, you always get another chance.

I love the ease with which we can have nice interactions with good folks here on myLot and at the same time earn a little cash.
This platform is gold; very easy to figure out; the more active you are, the more you earn. That's it.

I like your strategy; that's all I'm doing as well. There's no use in overthinking it all. Just stay active.

I just come here and enjoy whatever time I have and am not concerned with how much I earn although I like to earn at least $5 a month.

I had over $.70 for June 1; so I was happy. I keep my computer on all day and keep up with the Discussions and Notifications as soon as they're posted.

That's a very stress free approach to an otherwise fun and easy platform. I think the more active you are, the easier it is to stay active.

Collect all the nickels you can get and cash out. My earnings tend to be on a regular pace. I don't have any earning strategies; I just follow what my heart says.
