Question From The Third; Do You Believe?

June 1, 2019 9:59pm CST
Dearest friends. First of all, a very happy weekend to everyone and hope you guys are enjoying your comfort zone and non-alcoholic drinks. Anyway, for today's discussion I have in mind is regarding the third eye. I watched this foreign film the other day; and the premise is about this lady and some other friends whom have their third eye opened by natural means. They then use this ability to help other souls in distress; and just like in any other story, they encounter setbacks and difficulties together. There are some unlogical scenes in the movie but I'm not going to touch on that for now. (And there are aplenty at that). However, my question is, do you guys believe in having this third eye, and if you happen to have it, how would you use that to help others without compromising the situation. Have a joyous one, - ihasaquestion -

No, I do not believe in the third eye. I've heard of it.

@ihasaquestion That's part of the occult and I will have nothing to do with the occult.

@just4him It's got nothing to do with any occult, omg. The third eye refers to a sixth sense kind of thing.

Not sure what the third eye is supposed to be. I guess an extra sense..some have it and some don't I guess.

I have met a lot of people in my life and I have not met one that spoke about a "third eye". So, what is this "third eye" supposed to be?

@ihasaquestion From her comment, it seems that she thinks it's an extra sense.

I was told that when we were still babies, we had sixth sense. No wonder babies often cried at night due to seeing what adults can't see. Since the sixth sense is no longer used, it is gone as we grow.

I've heard of that before too. Yes, babies must have seen a lot, hence they aren't able to talk yet..

@ihasaquestion I know a little about our third eye but I've never tried to open it or anything like that. I don't even know if it's all true. Still interesting to read about though! I think if I knew how, I would most likely want to open it to see what happens. Maybe it could help me bring more confirmation on what life is about.

Your life will never be the same again if you open your third eye. You'd never have the privacy that once have and they're going to keep bugging you for help.

Do you have it opened?

I'm not sure what a third eye is. Is it like an extra sense or something? Is it the ability to read minds? Or "see" things that normal people can't see?

There is a lot of information available on the Internet about this, "third eye". "Meditation is the process of withdrawing the attention from the world outside, and focusing it at the seat of the soul in the body, behind and between the eyebrows. This point is known as the inner eye, third eye, the single eye, shiv netra, tisra til, or the divya chakshu. In order to withdraw our attention and focus it on this Point, mind must be controlled and stilled." This paragraph is taken from this Indian religious site: I myself have read a bit about the so-called third eye or the point between the two eyes, just above the eyebrows, where Indian people sometimes wear a small button type of a sticker, which helps them to focus more onto this point. Is there any truth to this though? Is it a chakra, or energy point, on the body? While it is true that there are energy centers on the body, these do not have great significance, unless you use them as such. When you focus through such an energy point, it focuses energy through in and out of that point, and brings you into contact with inner energies at times too, and it even can open up, or allow/create, a portal for you to travel along into the inner worlds from the outer too. This is the idea anyway, and most people should try meditating, concentrating their attention on this point, to see if it has any benefit to themselves, for themselves.
