Day Lilies

Day Lilies are starting to bloom in my garden. These yellow blooms are like a ray of sunshine. I love seeing them bloom. My day has been made. One bloom a day is what I will see in the garden with these flowers.
Later in the season my Tiger Lilies will bloom. I also look forward to seeing those. And the butterflies will be here soon. They enjoy all the blooms.

I have a very small patch of daylilies in my back yard. I have had to baby them for years and a couple of years ago, they started blooming... then the mowers cut them down. I was fuming! I put a bunch of rocks around them and they're trying again this year. I love daylilies.

i keep watchin' mine'n great 'nticipation! i've several varieties out by the back porch 'n they've been slow comin' this year. most likely the weird weather 's the spring's been cooler'n norm'n these parts. i've other blooms though that the butterflies 'n others 've come to partake'n. so all's not been lost, lol.

No complaints. I love Tiger Lilies too. I hope you get some butterfly and hummingbird pictures!

They are quite beautiful. I was in a store last week, the same place where I got the hanging plant I have now. They had some unidentified hanging plants..that were mostly leaves, although one had a bloom. I had no idea what they were..and neither did the people in the store!

I have to wait on my tiger lilies. They are the first after the tulips for what I have planted.
