Krinkles the clown!

Sometimes I go down the YouTube rabbit hole seeing many videos that are in no way related to the videos I started out with.
I've seen this commercial a few times in the past but stumbled upon it again last night. The video says it's a commercial from 1953 but when trying to research more about this commercial, the dates keep changing. So let's say this is from the 50's or 60's.
The video is 59 seconds. I am curious to know if anyone remembers this commercial, the clown or the cereal. And would love to know if you view this commercial as fun, laughable or creepy.
I'm not fond of clowns so admittedly this does bother me a bit. This dude was probably a sweetheart but if I ever saw him dressed as Krinkles, I'd have to ask him to go away.

There is actually a video of this where someone dubbed in the voice of Pennywise's voice lol kinda funny but mainly scary.

No, I don't remember it myself.....but with the clown, kind of creepy lol. Clowns always creep me out!

@MommyOfEli2013 Same with me! Seems many have a fear of clowns. 
And I don't blame anyone for feeling creeped out either.

@MommyOfEli2013 I know what you mean! I loved that movie mainly because it was a Stephen King movie and also because of Tim Curry playing him. The dude who played the updated version was great too.
I think my fear comes from a movie I saw as a kid called Clown House. Those clowns weren't nice.
