I knew the dress wouldn't fit me / myLot

I went over to the good goodwill in the next town over. They always have a good selection of clothes. I saw a dress that was really cute but I knew it would be too small on me. As I've said before, I don't try clothes on before buying them. Especially not used clothes. The only exception is jeans, and those jeans have to be new. Anyway, I did end up getting a dress that is the same size as the one I knew wouldn't fit me, but that is a different material. I am confident this one will fit me as it looks like it's runs a little bit bigger than what the tag claims it is (the actual clothes tag and not the tag that goodwill labels it). I've also go a long, slouch cover up type thing coming from ebay. I spent a little over $18 on clothes today, and $8.99 yesterday for the slouch cover up type thing. I have enough tops for now I think, now I just need to get some more leggings, jeans and shorts that I like. Are you set for this season in clothes?

I stopped buying clothes recently. I decided I really need to clear out a bunch of stuff - and we have tons of stuff. I bought a lot of clothing in this past year for myself, so I think I have well enough . . . I can always shop for more clothes again

(but I won't). Stop me. Now I'm into "dishes"

@ScribbledAdNauseum I love a mix and match of dishes. Getting more dishes has actually motivated me to find new recipes . . . dare I say I want dishes to match my food

. I do need new silverware . . . or at least replace the spoons (what happened to all the spoons

?). Having room for more is always a good feeling. Here, we are just crunched for space . . . I stopped myself from going to the thrift shop today (and today is that $1 sale).

@much2say I went back to goodwill today after selling some of my coloring books. I ended up pretty much making out evenly though. A lot of the dishes we have here are a mish mosh of things that once belonged to relatives that are now gone. What I REALLY need is to go through the pots and pans again and do a declutter of those. There are some kitchen things I'd like to get as well. My favorite style of dish are the square ones. I just think they are super cute.

We have A LOT of dishes here. I mean, a lot. About four to eight sets of silverware... It's a little crazy. I've gotten rid of some clothing and so I have room to store more clothes. Actually, I don't have enough clothes to be honest. I probably still have some clothes I never wear. I blame that on my dis-organization.

I just tried it on. It will have to be a longish top for me, but I half expected that anyway. Now I just need to get some shorts, maybe another bathing suit and another pair of jeans.

@Marilynda1225 Yes, I've got some things that I can pair the dress turned long blouse with. It has blues and blacks in it so it will go with anything blue, black and possibly even grey.

I am good..I do want to get a new swim suit and perhaps a summer dress, but I will wait until later in the season, when things start to go on sale.

I should have done that last year, but I didn't. I did see some swimsuits on the markdown rack at walmart the other day but none were the style I wanted.

I saw some swimsuits on the markdown rack at walmart the other day but none were my style. I have one suit, but I'd prefer to have another or something that I could pass off as a swimsuit. I usually check the clearance around the end of the year.

I need a couple of tops and shorts and that will do it for me. I hardly ever wear a dress. I bought one last year and haven't worn it yet.

I don't normally wear dresses either but I thought it would be nice to buy one. The one I ended up getting will have to be worn as a long shirt instead. that's fine though as I have plenty of leggings to pair it with.
