Poetry: A mother's love is often missed more than any other love

Love lived all alone, and lonely,
until it met itself within new life.
Then it dressed itself up for the other,
but the other didn't recognise love anymore.
Love must be only love, and not dressed up,
to be seen altruistically, and not despondently so.
Love lives as truth, when truth is seen, not hidden.
Love is real, when you live its truth in you, as you.
Love lived in my mother for me always alive.
I only appreciated her love fully, when she died.
I miss her sweet contact, and her cheery words.
I miss being loved, without being judged, at all.

Beautiful poem about the love that exists within a mother for her children.
It's hard for us to forget our mothers!

@innertalks I'm so happy and thankful that my mom loved me so much so that she didn't discard me even before I was born.

@1hopefulman Thanks Felix. I guess everyone one of us who had a loving mother would be glad about that too.

Thanks Felix. Yes, I will never forget my Mum!!
I would say that a mother's love is inbuilt by God into mothers, as he realised that only love, such love, could endure enough to lift the children into Heaven, unaided from him, until they became aware of him.
As such, a mother's love is almost comparable to God's love, and it is the same love really anyway, focussed onto her children.

A mother's love is selfless and starts even before a child is born.
A child cannot match the love of the mother as it is one of a kind.
I can understand how deeply you miss your mother Steve, but I know she was suffering physically in her final days.
You have done your best and that is the real solace for your mother and her children - siva

Thanks Siva.
We will miss our mother until we see her again, one day, I hope.
The search for love in life grows,
from the emptiness becoming empty.
The search for life in love grows,
from the life in emptiness refilling.
A mother's love is never empty,
even if she pours it all out every day.
God replenishes it daily for her,
as his heart beats in hers as one.

@Shiva49 Yes, thanks siva.
It is sad that most of us do not have the courage to love fully, and remain miserly with our love. A mother is hardly ever miserly with her love. We should all follow her example.

@innertalks Yes, mother's love is matchless and our creator keeps it replenished every day.
I have seen also fathers rising to the occasion but that still remains a distant second to the mother.
If we are not miserly with our love, our world would have been heaven right here.
It is time we did what is right, loved without borders and not out to outwit one another with suspicion, scheming and weapons of mass destruction - siva

But some love when they're around, as well as after their demise..
