Good morning/evening!
It's a rainy Friday morning here! Last night, I asked my mother-in-law to go to Doekjin Park today. She agreed. So, I am hoping for Mr.Sunshine to come out. My mother-in-law rarely goes out of the house. She needs to get some fresh air and sunshine.
What are your plans for today/tonight?

Today is a bit chilly because of the rain. It's springtime here in Korea. There are humid days and there are days that it is cold, we have to wear a light jacket.

Sun and clouds can surprise us at any time so I hope that worked out for you and your mother in law. Even without the sun the fresh air should do wonders but if she's gets depressed the rainy, dreary weather may not hello to raise her spirits as much as the sun.
But since your intent to bless her is strong possibly God will send you sonshine.
It's there a medical reason she rarely leaves the house?

She's very weak, but she's not completely bedridden. I feel sorry every time my family goes out without her. She should also enjoy the spring weather instead of being cooped up at home. Back in the Philippines where I used to live, my best friend's cousin would walk their great grandma every morning. She would do it patiently. I thought we (me and my husband) should try to it as well.

@Iam_jauntyjen is it expensive to get a wheel chair there? Even if you had to push her about if she's too weak to go very far. Others find a solid chair in her yard for her to sit on and get some fresh air and sunshine and maybe just doing that more often will build up her strength to be able to walk further again.

@MarshaMusselman She has a wheelchair. Either she doesn't want to go out or her children are too lazy to walk her outside.
