This morning we visited an orthopedic surgeon. My husband for a decade now has a small overgrowth in his left femur (left thigh bone). It is called osteiod osteoma, a benign overgrowth in the bones. But it has been causing pain and discomfort with my husband everyday activities.
We tried with all the pain relievers for a long time and now, it does not have effect anymore. Surgeon's recommendation is to have a biopsy to really know what is it and we go from there.
My husband still need to undergo a cardiologist's clearance first so we will gor from there first.

OH good luck to him I hope it is benign and nothing sinister. It is horrible to be in pain!

I'm sorry to hear this. I truly hope it's not serious and can be removed or repaired soon. These things take so much time from start to finish with seeing doctors and making appointments. Prayers for your husband. Keep us posted and the best of luck with everything.

I hope it will be taken care of soon, there are many steps before a surgery, and you always hope to pass all test required.
