A Nice Day

Today has been a nice day so far. It is almost noon. The weather is overcast with a little breeze.
Went out and gave fresh water for the birds. Still seeing the little babies being fed by the mom and dad birds. Robins, blackbirds, cardinals, thrashers, mockingbirds and doves.
A lot of blooms opening up in the garden. I will share photos later.
The bluebirds still visit the house in the garden but so far no nest. Trying not to give up on them.

It has been so hot here for the past few days, that late afternoons and evenings out in the garden under the trees has been a blessing--our zucchini is just starting to bear fruit--enjoy your day!!

@CarolDM It's best when the sun is mixed with the clouds. Today it was too hot, finally a little wind blow, so it's very pleasant outside

sure sounds a beaut 'f a day. 'lways 'njoy watchin' those wee'uns hollerin' 't their folks to hurry'n bring more food, lol.
if'n those bluebirds're hangin' 'round, they've a nest somewhere near yer place. be'n the lookout fer their fledglin's :)

Yes it actually has been, a nice breeze still now at 6pm. I have a bluebird house for the bluebirds but earlier in the season the robins chased them away, because they had babies. So I don't know if they will build or not. This will be the 10th year I had bluebirds in the backyard but so far not any.

I wish we had more birds that come here, I love the mourning doves and I absolutely adore the pigeons, but a little color would be nice. haha
I am doing some work today, but this evening I am going to visit my grandma, so that is something!

Sounds heavenly seeing all those different kinds of birds near by. Last week was such a nice sunny week and this week promises to be the same with breezes getting stronger this weekend about 20 mph. This week is going very good for me. Signing up for Medicare with my ins. agent and got ready for him. Ralph is coming over to my home and I got a lot of questions for him too. Since I relinquished my car years back, the landlord got my parking space back and now I got to ask for permission for using it, because they like it for their handyman and other's of the office to use. Got that done too. So all set for Ralph. Tues is a holiday locally, King Kamehameha Day and library closed so I'll see you on Wed. mylotiing! Trying to shake this coughing cold, too, so I won't venture too far or too long away from home. Just some shopping near by.
