Happy National Corn on the Cob day! Or as my 4 year old would Corn on cops day! Hahaha I’m not letting that one go again.
I couldn’t find anything about why today is National Corn on the Cob day but aw well that’s okay a mystery is always fun. I do like corn and it is the perfect time of the year for some good corn in the Cob and grilling them. Mmmm making myself hungry.

@ShyBear88 I didnt make the cobbettes, but I had some Mexican street corn salad leftover from yesterday's dinner instead.

That is funny and why it is a funny is because I was at the grocery store and saw the corn sitting there and almost bought it but did not.

I love the taste of corn on the cob, BUT, unfortunately I hate to eat it this way. It just gets stuck in my teeth and makes my face all greasy. Besides the fact I have a moustache and goatee...so that just exacerbates the problem. If I DO make corn on the cob I take a knife and cut the kernels off and just eat it with a fork.

@porwest no I mean it doesn’t matter how you eat it because it’s still corn. It’s not a big deal if it’s on or off the Cob when you eat it it’s still corn right?

@ShyBear88 No. It's not. I mean, taste wise it is. But if I eat it with a fork it goes straight into my mouth and I simply chew it. No grease on my face or my chin (well, because I butter it). And somehow when you do the typewriter eat off the cob, you get more crap that gets stuck in your teeth than eating just the kernels. It's not the same. Trust me.

@CarolDM yes, I’m making canned corn tonight with bake beans for dinner. Using our air frier my husband accidentally cut his extension cord so he could cut ether grass in the back for the grill.
