So I phoned them up ever so correctly Ever so patiently It was engaged, engaged and engaged yet again I was phoning the Pensions thing in England Anyway after about two hours of engaged I got through I thought yes and a big hello to you too I got Vivaldi shoved in my ears blasting away it was I also got if you don´t want to wait please call bla bla I was thinking to myself not a chance mate I am here a hanging on After all the trouble you have me go to Vivaldi in your ears for about seven minutes is okay But not my cup of tea Also had to put up with please press this and that Eventually, eventually I got to speak with someone up there Newcastle Upon Tyne to be precise She was very chatty and so I was I Okay that is all very nice In the end I took to getting that music blasted in my ears to listening to a soft lullaby of All Through The Night. This was once sung by Paul Robson as we knew it then and by many choirs also a great favourite. I did get to know in the end what I had to do and where to write. Alls well that ends well.

I know that we end up hating musics for constant repetition. Years ago every time you called Delta Airlines there was a long waiting and the song "Rainy Night in Georgia" played constantly during all the time. I hate that song now.

I don´t hate Vivaldi I dislike the repetition of it over and over and having to wait for so long for the information that I needed. However I managed to speak to someone who collaborated with me very well so that was the end of it. About Airlines is a different story they have done the same to me also stuck a song in my ear and having to put up with the music and saying we are sorry we cannot attend you in this precise moment.

@LadyDuck Even at the airport itself sometimes they are not very nice either. The Bilbao-London flight is one of my pet dislikes as they most always go out two hours late and I don´t know how they manage it.

@lovinangelsinstead21 With the airlines it is a pain, you spend hours waiting to speak with someone who can help.

I love Vivaldi and would not have minded it but to listen to it for two hours is too much. It is a national disgrace that you are held that long. If I were you I would make a formal complaint. Do not ignore it as nothing will be done about it. I know you are miffed but if you do not tell them they will carry on doing it. My pet hate is bloody Greensleeves! I feel like ramming the phone where the sun does not shine to have to listen to that noise!

You are right but it must just have been one of those days as it is a very busy time for them and I can appreciate that but I am phoning all the way from here and it costs me a bomb to be hanging on. Sorry I love Greensleeves but I would get fed up of it too if it was just played and played boy oh boy. Orange here plays all you need is love and its an awful racket as its a tape that has worn itself out ages ago. Who needs that kind of love?

@garymarsh6 Too much of one thing can spoil it all like having to listen to that music just to get anywhere its like you have to listen to it or else.

Its terrible we have to go through that these days with nearly everything. I have actually almost went to sleep a few times waiting or forgot what I needed to say to them.

Yes it was worth it in the end and because they are so restrictive in the way they do things its frustrating just to even get in touch with them.

Maybe I could use this before I go to sleep, it might helped better than the milk.

You mean the baby lullaby it could well work better than a glass of milk or maybe the two things together and have a good night´sleep.

I like Vivaldi, but constant repetition can get annoying! One feels like asking "why can't you change your tune?"

I did feel like asking that you know but it was so flippin loud as well. Love it wish they would change the tune a bit. She laughed when I said that never mind got through in the end eventually was the word.

Why hasn't anyone thought of allowing waiting customers to choose the kind of music they want? Vivaldi's four seasons Spring and Autumn are relaxing and I don't mind listening to them repeatedly.

You are right but it all depends on what you are calling them for and if it had been something that could have waited till next week I would have just put the phone down and that would have been it. Tney don´t let you choose and they keep saying in the background we are very busy please call back later.
