~Conversation With My 3 Year Old-Ready to SMILE?~

Good morning everyone! I hope you're doing well today and you are enjoying a new day God gave you. =)
The sun is shining and it's going to be a hot one but I'm very grateful I'm alive and for A.c! 
So...here's 2 convos Julian and I have had lately...
Yesterday:
Me: Good morning handsome.
Julian: Morning, me hungry.
Me: Want some cereal?
Julian: No me hungry for McDonald's!
Me: Daddy's at work we can't go there.
Julian: Oh man! (Pouty face) 
Today's morning convo went like this:
Me: Good morning handsome.
Julian: Morning, me hungry.
Me: Want some cereal or eggs?
Julian: No me want beans 
Me: Okay I will make y'all beans.
~Julian says grace all by himself!!!~
Me: Good job Julian, you said grace like a big boy!
Julian: Good job? Me don't have a job!! 
I don't know about YOU but I LOVE our conversations and I usually end up laughing or at LEAST with a smile on my face when finished! I hope after reading this you at least have a smile on your face from my sweet, funny and literal 3 year old!!

One of the things I loved about raising my children, is that no matter how bad of a day I was having, or how stressed or worried I was about anything, I could always count on them to say or do something hilarious that would make my laugh or smile. And it usually happened at the most unexpected times too, which made it even better! Kids truly are a blessing from God!

That's cute. I remember when I was with my sis and nephew when he was 4, she told him we had to head home for supper. He said, and I quote "I don't want any stupid supper, I want McDonalds." She asked him if he had any money..she said " You know you don't just smile, and they give you a hamburger." He said "Oh yeah." It was cute..

@LovingMyBabies They are funny, one time..same nephew..sis was working in the kitchen and she gave him the phone and said talk to Aunt Karen for a minute, I will be back after this..He told me he was drinking kool aid. I said, "Oh is it tasty?" He said "NO, it's cherry."

He's a cutie! I enjoy the things three- and four-year-olds say. Yesterday:
me: Wow, I think that was an owl that just flew over!
3-year-old: That's not an owl. It's a bird!
me: I stand corrected. But wait. I think owls are a kind of bird.
3-year-old: It was a bird.
I'm used to losing arguments.

@LovingMyBabies Sigh. Some of my kids now say "I stand corrected." It's one of my "catch phrases." Hard to win when kid logic is involved.

You are so lucky to have young children to enjoy. They are so funny and delightful but grow up too fast. Your conversations with Julian are precious and thanks for sharing. Gave me a smile as I read your post.

This is so sweet, kids always keep us laughing:) I had a licensed day-care home for about six years. Some of our conversations were so darn funny, I should have written a comedy book, like 'Art Linkletter' did! Julian is definitely handsome!
