I am pumped to try a new blog and maybe for profit too.

But not just yet. I know how I am. I get busy and good ideas end up on the back seat or back burner as life moves on. I currently have about ten to fifteen blogs of which I've not added any new content for several years now. I used to post my link to my posts on bubblews back when. In fact I really need to go through much of what I have online and delete links to sites are no more. I don't expect to do much with that at present but maybe I can whittle away at it in the next few years. I've started about six posts about my journey with keto. I know that wordpress revamped their site and I'm thinking maybe I can pay for my own domain. But, money is still a bit tight so I'm going to work on some of my ideas and when I'm ready to make it happen maybe I can have some content to post over time even if I don't currently have the time to write something new. So, this isn't happening right away but maybe by next year if not before. I was in Pinterest earlier on the app but I need to go on my computer to figure things out before mainly using the app. I have old links to bubbles posts on that too which I need to delete. But maybe this will just keep me away from my games and TV rather than away from mylot.

That's good you have something to work on in the future if not right now.

If I save it for the future or at least the writing of iti may not get it done but if I can write something most everyday then maybe I'll have enough to schedule auto postings. I'm hoping before I go back to work in the months I'll have searched out WordPress more and what to expect for expenses. Plus I'll need to come up with a catch title.

@just4him I do too. If I continue following a keto plan or for the most part they I should have ongoing commentary and recipes to post too. There are a lot of blogs out there already so it could flop but it may depend on how much research and prep time I take.

I hope it doesn't fizzle out. But time will tell.

@DianneN thanks, that sweet of you. I certainly can't say that I lack the words.

So far I've taken lots of pics of my foods which I tend to do anyway and I've shared many of them already on Instagram. I've also written more on Evernote to use in the future if this pans out .

I have always played around with the idea to create a blog that people subscribe to say a couple of bucks. However, then I think what would I write about and who would be interested in subscribing when there are so many free blogs around.

A blog sounds like a lot of work to keep it going.Once it catches a readership though it is a very exciting thing for the writer and reader....I sometimes go to read book blogs and some are very readable as they seem to be sitting just across me and chatting. Hope you get to do what you want. Glad to know that knee recovery is coming on fine

I have a lot to check out before I start one. But from what I've seen this far when looking online for keto recipes, most come from blogs that look successful.

@MarshaMusselman It takes a lot of effort to make the blog successful, right?

@Nevena83 I think the main thing is good, continual content posted at regular increments. Eventually if it works out I can monitize it too, but that will take more research before I get it there.
