Just ordered a new charger for my laptop

My parrot took a few chunks out of the cord but it still works fine. I just went to grab a cookbook from the shelf and accidentally stepped on the power cord. It sparked! That freaked me out because I didn't realize what a hazard this thing is. It is sitting directly on a carpeted floor. So I googled the model of the laptop and found replacement power cords on Amazon for $19. Sold! It will be here tomorrow and I will rest more easily then.

i'm glad such sparked'n ya took to action. 'd be awful to know a fire 't'cher place 'twas caused by such. shocked yer gettin' a sunday delivery from amazon??? takes 'em 3 days to e'en notify my orders been shipped....so much fer prime!

@NJChicaa one can 'nly get a saturday delivery durin' the Christmas rush. other'n that, none're done'n the weekends here.

Yikes! Atleast it wasn't much worse than a spark. Have you unplugged it from the computer or are you using it until tomorrow?
I have some electrical tape around here somewhere that I bought a few years ago for a frayed cord.
