Just like each of you, I love my dad too. :) He's one special person ... He leads his life in a simple way and he hasn't saved anything for him that much.. he takes life just as it comes and he says : "our good deeds will always take care of us, how tough the path may be.."
I completely believe in these words and I would love to be of help to him always..
I still can't forget the call he made after my marriage ..he was actually crying over the call, but I cut the call since I thought there is no response .. but he was actually crying the other side.. 
That's how dads are! They have great feelings inside but will rarely express it outside just like that...

I understand that... Father and daughter relationship is an unexpressed beautiful love which is felt and lived by both of them :)

You're dad sounds like a loving man who loves you very much. My dad led a very simple life, worked hard for his family, believed strongly in education, and gave back to the community. I miss him terribly. I hope your father has a very wonderful Father's Day. Tell him you love him every chance you get.

Thanks for your words :) yeah, he surely is! I just wished him for Father's day and he was happy :) and as you'd mentioned I will make sure I reciprocate my love towards him, in all possible situations ... Thanks much !!
That's a very nice principle that your dad followed to believe on education that will up-bring the society! Glad for that !!

@smileyhema even I noticed my father could not control his emotions once I suffered from a fatal disease in 2011 though he did not express it openly , I saw his eyes turning wet.
