For all we know there are two types of people as far as "ego" is concerned, the "egoist" and the "egotist."
An "egoist" is a petty soul, disregarding of the rights and needs of others. He is a "selfish person."
An "egotist" is a self-centered person. He's boastful. He talks more. He tries to get what he wants whatever matters.
I may have that kind of attitude sometimes but it's not dominant. I don't know about your behavior.

They're not similar. Those who are boastful because of more talking is egoTist. It is with letter T in the center or 2 Ts. With one T is egoist, the selfish.

We could tell that a person has an inflated ego, when he is:
1. Closed minded and don't listen to suggestions.
2. He is always right, though he is visibly wrong.
3. Treats everyone but himself as inferior.

@Nakitakona and we just hope that narcissistic people like that will just disappear. In our office, they are the primary cause of project breakdowns.

@Mamerto32 Narcissism is different from egoism. Narcissism is in the positive point of view while egoism is on the negative.

That's ego in general. If it's not, where does it belong?
