Woo hoo today’s is National Splurge Day! That means go out and do something for you or eat a treat you don’t eat daily like a pieces of chocolate or whipped cream. It’s a nice day to do something for you.
This day was started by Adrienne Sioux Koppersmith in 1994.

@DianneN oh that sounds yummy. I want some too now. I had two cups of coffee, a chocolate donuts, and then a nap while my husband took care of the kids.

Yeah do it! You deserve it! I’m splurging by staying awake a little linger and taking a nap just a little bit later so my husband can sleep longer so I can nap a good amount of time. I even made sure the kids did all there morning stuff.

That was yesterday and I did gt some things I needed. There is a store in my neighborhood that has a very good sale and maybe I will go back and check more things outs.

Sure you can splurging doesn’t mean to buy something just means treat yourself to something. Even if it’s like a shower or bath, going to bed early. Paint your own nails. Watching a movie or show.

@ihasaquestion going out doesn’t mean you have to buy. Your taking the words to literal. Definition of splurge has nothing to do with spending. Just means do something for yourself whatever it is.
