I woke up today and looking at the paint job in the morning light I see I will have to give it another hand. So I will tell Marco as soon as he arrives.
As for now, I´m mylotting in bed, waiting for the outside world to call me.Meanwhile I look at reruns on TV. The good guy hides in a Latin America and all cities in all Latin American countries look the same. I wonder sometimes if the people who make these films in Holliwood know that big cities in South America don´t have dogs or chicken running in the streets and colorful clad people selling in the streets.
Did you know that Ciudad de Mexico is the second biggest city in t he world? Do you know about the skyscrapers in all the mayor cities in South America, in spite of earthquakes? The image belongs to Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina. Last week I saw a NCIS rerun. Tony Dinozzo went there and got the bad guys amid hens and street dogs.
I´m on a study online about all this and it is fascinating. See you after my breakfast.

Even Hollywood gets it wrong. I didn't know those facts about South American cities or that Cuidad de Mexico was the second largest city in the world. Good trivia fact. I thought it was New York with Tokyo as the largest. But what do I know? I never was good with trivia.

It is not important that Ciudad de Mexico is the second largest city on the world. But for me is is not so trivial that people are led to believe that in South America most people live in huts or that they are ignorant. I remember that when my father, a renowned biochemist and doctor here got cancer, the doctors who were to do a procedure on his brain sent his MRI to the Mayo Clinic to ask for help. The answer was that Chilean doctors were as capable as the doctors there and that we had the same means they did.

@just4him We have good medicine here. I checked online on the chemotherapy I was going to have when I got the lymphoma and it is exactly what they use at the Mayo clinic. Here the government helps for a great part of the cost

Good Morning! I'm ready for my breakfast and laundry is on the "to do" list for today.
Hope you have a good day watching your reruns on tv.

Thank you. Laundry is not a happy job for me. Yet it must be done.

Buenos Aires is a very European looking city.
