The older we get, the more we forget

People say when we are older we tend to forget more. I disagree with this as I noticed young people are also forgetful. My daughters easily forget things. The fact the older people forgetting more depends on whether or not they still sharpen their memory. Physical exercises help them strengthen their memory. Solving puzzle also helps. Nowadays it is not the age that can be used to determine one's memory power. What's your opinion on this matter?

Our brains become so loaded with memories and things that we miss once in awhile. Young people have less in the head.

The food for the brains will restore them, I guess.

I agree with you.Lot of young people forget unless they are lying. The young people are too busy with there cell phones.Everywhere you look they are out there.Pretty sad.

Yes. Even old people do the same--busy with cell phones where ever they are.

Well, you need fruits and veggies that would help you have strong memories. I think those with vitamin A.

No matter how much you keep your mind sharp, aging you become more forgetful. I have seen that in the end my mother remembered very well events of the past, but she forgot things happened only a few days before.

Keeping our brains sharp can help many as we age. I try to do brainteasers, crosswords, etc. every day, but lately it takes me longer to remember titles of books and names.

Does it have anything to do with the food that weakens the brain?
