I Messed Up

Praise God for Google Calendar. I set up all my appointments on Google Calendar and set them to notify me an hour before I need to be anywhere. I checked my e-mail shortly before I planned to leave to find I was already supposed to be there. I shut everything down and flew out of here.
Do you know what happens when you're late for anything? You catch every red light and get behind the slow moving truck. Despite being late, it was a good final session. Only a half-hour instead of the usual hour, but that was okay. I talked fast. This was a yearly session because he determined last year we were nearing the end. Today was the end. I don't need any more counseling. The initial reason for my seeking counseling has been satisfied.
Now all I need is my nap, get the few chores taken care of, set up the table for the study, and I'm good to go.
Have you ever been late for something when you thought it was later than it was? Are you habitually late? Are you an early person to all your appointments?
Thanks for reading. I'm too hyped right now for my nap, so I'm going to try to finish these notifications.

I've done that too with my hair appointments. I've had to reschedule several of them because I forgot the date and didn't write down anywhere and when I found the appointment card or called the salon, I found out when it was. I'm more diligent about that appointment now.
Thank you. I'm glad it's finished.

Yes, I have been late before, because I have also had the wrong time or date. So better late than never, But I do not like being rushed, and late.
Walking in when something has started is a disruption , and I feel bad.

@CookieMonster46 It depends on the situation.

Except for a few times I never was late. Now daughter does any appointments and she has a tendency to always be late.

Yes but usually I am early. But occasionally I totally blow it even though my phone is set to tell me twice I have an appointment.

@BelleStarr That's good it doesn't happen often. I hate it when it happens, which for me isn't often either.

I tend to be careful as well, when going for any appointments. I usually be there on time if not before. But I've my tuff days as well and that depends on so many factors like babysitting, taxi delays and so on.. That's quite natural for anyone. :-)
Please take good rest for yourself.

I am usually on time, with appointments. Last winter I allowed 1/2 hour to get to my doctor's office. We had a terrible snow storm, so I drove 25-30 mph all the way there. I was 15 minutes late, but they weren't upset at all.

@just4him I had driven 25 miles to get there. They weren't even expecting me to come, at all!

I'm sorry eating makes you late. Maybe if you ate earlier you wouldn't be late.

I am always late :-) I had meetings in Springfield and Annapolis Landing yesterday. They are 3 hours apart on a good day. Yesterday, was not a good day...

I have your luck when I am running late. Red lights, slow trains and road construction all seem to show up.

Always. They might be too if you're early, but you never notice it like you do when you're late.

I don't think I have been late to something because I thought it was later/another time. But that is true...when you are in a hurry to get somewhere you get stuck in traffic/behind slow things....it seems just to make you even later!
