Uh, oh, flushed away!

My daughter came out of the bathroom crying like someone just cut her and she is in pain. She told me mommy my phone it fell in the toilet and is flushed.
Me: why did you bring it into the bathroom knowing that might just happen.
M: I didn’t know mama
Me: yes you did know that, I’ve told before don’t being food or toys into the bathroom.
M: crying can you get me a new one? Can daddy get it back for me?
Me: once it’s down that drain there isn’t much I can do besides try to plugging it back up if we can. I don’t know if we will get you a new one.
Crying and more crying.
Just so you know it was a small blue toy phone not a real cellphone.

Oh no she isn’t allowed an actual phone she is 8. She got a play phone for a $1 last week and she dropped that into the toilet.

@hereandthere she is 8 years old far too young for a real one as we can see since she dropped in the toilet. She even asked if she could bring a tablet outside I told her no you’ll drop it. No I won’t she said. Hmmm, no it stays here with me

@CarolDM I got let the mom tales happen as they happen and go oh yeah let me not leave this information out it’s just a play phone. I’m sure lots of people where like why the heck did you let your kid take a cell phone to the bathroom.

It’s in the drains some where not. No way of finding that’s once it’s down that drain it’s gone no coming back.
