Hey everyone, hope you are doing well!
I wanted to share a photograph of someplace that is special to me. This is my great-grandmother's house. It's like a second home to me. I used to spend every weekend there. Now, my son and I go down every other Sunday to visit with my great-grandmother. I'll never forget her, or her home.

She just turned 95 last month! It is a very nice house! There are so many trees.....and you can always hear birds when you are outside!

@josie_ That's good to hear :) I always would have liked to live there rather than just visit on weekends. Hope you can too! Thank you, I have been close to her my whole life....but then again our family is all that way

I've always enjoyed to spend time with her....she is 95 now! Ohh, that sounds like a nice place!

@LindaOHio She isn't so happy about still being alive at 95! But we all love her so much and don't know what we'd do without her!

I love that house. It looks like the perfect little place to hole up from the world. I have no such place except for my little apartment.

Thank you, it is a very nice house! And it is out in the country....so no very close neighbors. I am sorry you don't have a place like that; but a small apartment is still nice!

I'm so glad you shared this picture, of your great-grandmother's house:) It looks so inviting and homey, it's no wonder you loved going there so much! Plus, your great-grandmother is so special, that's the most important part.

@MommyOfEli2013 My grandma sold the 80 acre family farm, that I enjoyed as a child growing up. Now, it's still standing there, but it belongs to someone else:(

Well I am glad I could share it....I planned to eventually since I snapped the photo....but then we got talking about it and so I shared it sooner :) It is very homey, and relaxing....it's out in the country....lots of farmland...when my uncle was alive he had animals up on the hill...horses, chickens, pigs, etc. I just hope the house stays in the family!
