Believing in zodiac sign...

Like @owlwings has said, it would be rather limiting to believe there are only 12 types of people. There may well be some influence in our life from celestial bodies and their movements but, if there is, it will only be a very small part of our make-up. I actually write articles for an astrology magazine. When I have researched, there is a lot more to it than just a zodiac sign. I'm still not sure how much I believe in it all or how much influence it has on us. I will accept that anything is possible but I am the same zodiac sign as my little sister. We are very different! Saying that, my big sister, my partner, and my youngest son are all Gemini and they are so similar that it scares me! :D

Mine is cancer and I don't believe in zodiac signs. I think all depends on individual. not on signs.

When most people refer to their 'Zodiac Sign', what they really mean is the 'sign' (or division of the ecliptic) which the sun occupied when they were born. The reason that this is so popular is that it is very easy to calculate. The statement "I am a Sagittarian" has precisely the same significance as if I were to say "I was born in December" (Yes, I know that the sun enters the region of Sagittarius a few days before the end of November and leaves it a few days before the end of December, but the principle of measuring the year by dividing it into 12 sections is the same). If you only take the sun sign into account, this means that everyone in the world falls into one of 12 categories. Can you really believe that ALL Sagittarians 'love travel', are on an 'inexhaustible quest for knowledge' and are 'spiritual' and 'high-minded'? You can read your Horoscope for the day, if you like, and sometimes it might resonate with what you are feeling or doing at the time but astrologers have long learnt to write their 'predictions' in a very special language which sounds specific but is actually so vague that enough of almost anything they say can be applied to any person and situation and will seem to ring true.

The zodiac signs are fascinating. There could be truth as far as the characteristics are concerned, Gemini people really have two personalities, I observed. However, people have taken advantage of this astronomical guide and would offer unbelievable predictions for pay. So, the zodiac has also become fake, like so many things. Yet, the zodiac are, these recent years, shedding light to prophecies. A reason to study the signs again,

Mine is Capricorn. I do believe but only when it happens according to my wish. Like , what I mean is, it should be positive and supporting

I used to say I won't believe it but one time I've read something about my sign it quite reflects me very well...

I dont look on what my zodiac sign means. . Mine is Scorpio...
