Cappy who is a female pit bull who was wandering inside the Pennsylvania Capitol Building was adopted by Pennsylvania Capitol Officer Sergeant Mike Schmidt (not the former Major League Baseball star) who admired the loving behavior of the female dog was homeless.
Sergeant Schmidt decided to adopt the homeless female since despite being a Pit Bull, she liked to be around him a lot.
The good news is that Cappy is now a goodwill ambassador that greets everyone inside the Pennsylvania Capitol Building by allowing the people to pet her and shower her with love.

Who would have thought that a homeless dog who is a female pit bull can be adopted by a police officer and work in a state capital in the Keystone State?

I really enjoy sharing these kinds of stories of animals that are homeless that find jobs with the police department.
