Waffles and Banana Brunch

Woke up to construction again. The sewer lines are being dug right behind my fence for the new houses. Lots of loud sounds. Machinery digging, backing up... beep beep beep. Oh well. It is what it is. Will not complain today.
A late breakfast/brunch consisted of waffles, syrup, chopped pecans and a banana. I had one banana left and decided to slice it to have with my waffle. It was actually good with a little syrup drizzled on top. And yes that is a Dixie paper plate.

Your brunch looks very good.

that so tops a taste bud thriller versus the smoothie i partook'n, lol. i so need to gimme a waffle iron!

@CarolDM lol, don't blame ya :) i've a waffle iron'n my wish list, though doubt such'll 'ppear coz the hubs dislikes waffles ('n pancakes..). if'n i'd such, i'd be freezin' 'em fer later. found a recipe with almond flour that looks's though might jest work well.
ugh, those construction folks. don't'cha think those folks ought to send the established neighbors'n a nice lil vacation fer all the noise 'n aggravation?

@crazyhorseladycx Almond flour is a good choice. As for the construction, I don't think we get a say or break until they are done.

I can relate to the noise. Some of the houses in my street got new owners and they are renovating at the moment. It is very noisy. It will be very nice when they are done.
The food looks good. I have never had bananas and waffles together, but it sounds nice.

@CarolDM It is the same here. It is usually quiet here, but not at moment. Last year they installed a new kind of heating and it was even worse 
But the noise will end one day 
I haven't had waffles for such a long time. Maybe we will make brunch next weekend.

OMG! That looks so good! About the dixie plates, I bought a couple packs of the smaller plates bogo at Publix last weekend. I usually won`t but them, except this time of the year and Christmas.

We had to deal with those noises for weeks it was terrible.
That looks like an amazing breakfast! I joined in on the banana party but no waffles here, just an apple to go with it haha
