I discovered why it has been so cold.

As I went out to start with the passport procedure, I looked at the Andes mountains nearby. The hills were snowed to the bottom! I understood then why Daniel, my grandson, told me that he would come for dinner if the snow let him. He is renting a room in a house in the first slopes of the mountains A couple of weeks ago, Tania invited me to take him home in her car and I yelled part of the way. It was pitch dark and I felt that in each curve we would go down hill. As youth does, Daniel goes back and forth on a bike. The mountains can´t be more beautiful. But we have to pay the price for that beauty. It is very, very cold.

We are not prepared here for too much cold. And many of us don´t earn enough to keep our houses warm.

Mountains with snow, I just love them, but we don't have any near to us. Its too hot here. Yes everything has some disadvantage. So we can count this thing under it.

It must surely be a hard push back up even the foothills of the mountain.

I don´t want to know how much I will spend in gas. But I have to keep the house warm.
